Using aqua-ammonia and LiBr-H2O as absorbent-refrigerant pairs, this article compares absorption refrigeration systems. The impact of generator temperature on the coefficient of performance (COP) of both systems is examined at condenser and absorber temperatures of 50°C with an eye toward Indian weather, evaporator temperatures of 10°C for thermal comfort applications, and a solution heat exchanger effectiveness of 0.7. The results show that at generator temperatures of 110°C, 120°C, 130°C, and 140°C, respectively, the LiBr-H2O system has a higher COP of 58.76%, 48.27%, 45.81%, and 45.87% than the aqua-ammonia system. Based on performance comparison, it is determined that the LiBr-H2O system is a superior choice for comfort applications than the aqua-ammonia system
